Soft Skill Sets
Soft Skill Sets- Internal abilities that are directed towards people and communication solutions.

Adaptability- The ability to adjust to a situation or circumstance, especially in the moment.
Body Language- The ability to nonverbally communicate; the ability to nonverbally communicate with the intention of direction or guiding a situation or behavior.
Confidence- The belief you can achieve a task or a goal.
Decision-Making/Knowing What to Prioritize- The ability to clearly choose one situation, scenario, or item over another.
Detecting Patterns/Pattern Detection- The ability to see, identity, and make sense of recurring situations and behaviors.
Emotional Regulation- The ability to understand, manage, and limit your emotions; the ability to present the emotion that will get the best long-term outcome for the situation.
Focus- The ability to give attention to a singular item or situation.
Insight- The ability to look inside a situation; the ability to think critically about the way the situation is presented, then trust your instinct to disagree with the presentation of the situation, then arrive at what your gut believes to be the honest meaning.
Managing Distractions- The ability to dismiss lower-value tasks while moving towards higher-value tasks.
Patience- The ability to endure an uncomfortable situation in order to gain the long-term benefits.
Situational Awareness - The ability to be present and respond to your surroundings as things happen in real time.
Taking Initiative- The ability to move towards a high-value task on your own.
Tone- The ability to use voice inflection to intentionally give emphasis to what you're saying in order to give it more (or less) meaning, guidance, urgency, or direction.
Tone Range-The ability to use varying inflections (or emotions) in your voice, often within a short timeframe, so the shift of inflections (or emotions) conveys different levels of urgency.
Vocal Direction- The ability to speak up to guide a situation.
Vulnerability- The ability to be open in situation; the ability to lead with your core self with no emotional guards in place.

Modern Slang
Baddie- An attractive person, usually a female.
Basic- Unoriginal or generic, mostly in style or lifestyle choices.
Bet- A term to show agreement or acceptance.
Bussin'- Used to describe something good, usually food that's delicious.
Chill- Easy going, laidback, or calm.
Cappin' or Cap- Said when someone is lying or embellishing.
Cooked- 1) Used to express that someone or something is finished or "done for." 2) "Let them cook," can mean let them finish without interruption. 3) Someone could use it to express that they're overwhelmed or exhausted. 4) Can also be used to describe a good performance.
Cringe- Embarrassing.
Deadass- Serious.
Delulu- Delusional.
Dope- Used to describe something cool.
Extra- Something excessive or unneeded. Mostly used to describe excessive or over-the-top behavior.
Fit- An outfit.
Fit Check- Reviewing or seeing someone's outfit.
Flex- Showing off.
Glow Up- A positive transformation.
Ghosting- When someone leaves a relationship with no communication.
Gyat- Used to describe something surprising or amazing. The origin came from describing a large butt.
You Gucci?- Is everything all good?
High-Key- Used to express high desire or a strong emphasis. "I high-key wanna go home right now."
Hot Take- A controversial point-of-view.
Ick- "He gives me the ick," means a person has an undesirable trait that no longer makes them attractive.
Lit- Used to describe something awesome or exciting.
Low-Key- Means "kind of" or "somewhat."
Main Character Energy- A person who has the presence of a leader or an influential member of a setting or their peer group.
Mid- Average.
No Cap- Said when someone isn't lying or embellishing.
Noob- A new or inexperienced person.
NPC- Stands for Non-Playing Character. It means a person who is in the background of the situation or a group.
Ohio- Used to describe something useless, cringe, or dumb. Can be a word kids yell for no reason.
On God- Truthfully.
Opps- Opponent, opposition, or opposing force.
Period- 1) Used to emphasize the truth of honesty of a statement. 2) Used to express finality or that no further discussion is needed.
Purr- Said to express satisfaction or approval.
Rizz- To charm or flirt.
Say Less- I understand. No need to say more.
Shook- Surprised, daunted, or unsettled.
Slaps- Used to describe something that's excellent or awesome.
Slays- Said when something is good or impressive.
Sigma- 1) Used in dating culture to describe a quiet, rebellious, lone wolf male. 2) Kids say, "What the sigma? which means nothing. 3) Used to describe someone (or something) unique, different, and/or original.
Sus- Suspicious.
Tea- Fresh gossip.
Throwing Shade- Hurling insults.
