About
Acting Like Kids is Socially Acceptable's internal training program where actors portray kids to train our recess staff.

Long story short, we're a recess vendor for 3 elementary schools in North Central Phoenix. We provide additional recess staff for our schools as an outside vendor.

To our knowledge, this has been a thing for 14 years, with the upcoming 22-23 school year being Socially Acceptable's 4th year.

Finding the people and training them has always been the tough part.

For the first 3 years, we just grinded it out.

Now we have the set up to bring in actors to act as kids.

I kind of knew this was done in medicine, but it wasn't until I organized auditions and actors told me medicine's version has a name.

If medicine calls it Standardized Patients, let's call education's version Acting Like Kids.
